First Financial Bank Announces 13th Chester County Office 


DOWNINGTOWN, Pa., Sept. 27  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- First Financial Bank
announced that it has signed an agreement to construct its 13th Chester County
office to be located in Oxford, Pennsylvania.

"Oxford is an area of tremendous growth and potential," noted First Financial
Bank President and CEO Donna Coughey. "That growth has generated greater demand
for banking options. Business owners together with people working or living in
the area are expanding the community quickly. With First Financial Bank's
history as a Chester County Community Bank, and the proximity of our other

our Bank in terms of the high level of service that we provide."

Negotiations for the office placement have been underway for a number of
months. "Physical location is a critical factor in customer service,"
acknowledged First Financial Bank CFO Joseph Crowley. "We believe that the
location on Route 10 in the Oxford Square Shopping Center will provide easy
access and maximum convenience for the businesses and residents of the area.
The Bank will be one of many enterprises coming into the region, including a
new Redner's Market." The branch will be a full-service office, including
drive-up lanes for added customer convenience. "In addition to the branch, our
electronic service offerings will provide 24-hour convenience for all
customers," Crowley added.

Office construction is expected to be completed mid-year 2005. Construction of
the office is pending regulatory approval.
