Thank You -- Together We Raised 10,456 Glasses for Gift of Sight

Hong Kong Broadband Network Ltd ("HKBN"), a wholly owned subsidiary of City Telecom (HK) Limited, (HKSE:1137) (Nasdaq:CTEL) would like to express our sincere Thank You to our customers, business partners and friends, whom together raised 10,456 Glasses for Gift of Sight Initiative. 

"Our Gift of Sight Initiative collects used glasses for redeployment by Crossroads to less affluent communities around the world. In 2008, we raised 970 glasses in a similar campaign. Two years later, in 2010, with your support, we raised more than 10x at 10,456 glasses, which shows the power of working with our friends. Also very encouraging is that 1/3 of the collected glasses have come in from our 15 shops which is a new sales distribution channel for us," Annie Sin, Director of Administration of HKBN said.

Miss Laura Brooks, PR & Development Manager of Crossroads Foundation, was delighted and said, "The gift of a pair of eyeglasses can be literally a 'Gift of Sight.'  That is why HKBN's campaign to collect eyeglasses here in Hong Kong will mean so much to people around the world.  With the amazing amount of eyeglasses donated, Crossroads can offer this precious gift to more people than ever before.  It is so encouraging to know that companies like HKBN have put their heart and energy into helping so many, for which we are extremely grateful."
