CONCORD, N.C., July 21  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- CT Communications, Inc.
(NASDAQ:CTCI) will release earnings for the second quarter of 2005 on Thursday,
July 28, 2005, after the market closes, and will post the release on the
Company's website, http://www.ctc.net/, in the Investor Relations section. The
Company has scheduled a conference call for Friday, July 29, 2005, at 10:00 AM
Eastern to review and discuss its quarterly results.  Following the earnings
release, additional data to be reviewed and discussed on the Company's
conference call will be made available on the Company's website and on a Form
8-K filing with the SEC.

You are invited to listen to the conference call, which will be broadcast live
