Communications & Power Industries Awarded $18 Million Contract for Jackal Passive Infrared Defeat Program

PALO ALTO, Calif., Feb. 3, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Raytheon Company (NYSE: RTN) has awarded Communications & Power Industries, Inc. (CPI) an approximately $18 million contract to support the Jackal passive infrared defeat systems for the U.S. Army.  Work under this contract will be performed at CPI's Satcom Division in Georgetown, Ontario and its Microwave Power Products Division in Palo Alto, Calif.  CPI is a subsidiary of CPI International, Inc. (Nasdaq: CPII).
