EQRx Update: Our Partnership with Blue Cross NC, latest Drug Engineering

Collaboration with Absci

Dear Friends of EQRx,

I hope all is well. We wanted to provide you with a few more updates on our progress at EQRx.

We are pleased to share a social media post from Sonny Goyal, SVP, head of diversified business and chief strategy officer at Blue Cross North Carolina. This is the first time a payer with whom we are collaborating on a partnership has shared publicly their views on the opportunity. We believe this is demonstrative of a key element of our business strategy: working with payers to achieve mutual goals, including financial and health outcomes. He states in part: “Our agreement with EQRx means we will work together to find ways to lower out-of-pocket costs for our members who need prescription drugs, helping to connect EQRx with our provider networks and member communities.”

We are also pleased to announce our latest drug engineering collaboration with Absci, which will leverage Absci’s Drug Creation™ technology for discovery and development activities, along with EQRx’s clinical development expertise and commercial capabilities, to advance next-generation, protein-based therapeutics at more affordable costs for patients. Along with our announced partnerships with Exscientia, AbCellera, Relay Therapeutics, our partnership with Absci will be used to further expand our portfolio of innovative, affordable medicines.

Please let us know if you have any questions or would like to discuss further – we are happy to schedule time to discuss. We will plan to keep you continually updated on our progress.

Best,

Melanie
