Community Bancorp Inc. (NASDAQ:CMBC), parent company of
Community National Bank ("Community"), announced today that the
Company was awarded the 2005 Market Cap Champion Award for financial
institutions in the $500 million-$1 billion asset class by Carpenter &
Company, Investment Bankers. Community received the Market Cap
Champion Award for its three year stock appreciation of 338%, for the
period ended December 31, 2005.
"We are very proud of these investor returns and honored to
receive this prestigious award for the second year in a row," stated
Michael J. Perdue, President and CEO. "Our stock performance is a
reflection of our stockholder driven philosophy and our commitment to
making our relationships with our stockholders, customers, and

The awards were presented at the fifth annual Strategic Issues
Summit held at the Balboa Bay Club & Resort in Newport Beach, CA on
April 4, 2006. The Summit is sponsored by the California Bankers
Association, the largest state trade association in the country and
Carpenter & Company, an Irvine-based investment banking firm
specializing in financial institutions.
Community Bancorp is a bank holding company with $908.6 million in
assets as of December 31, 2005, with a wholly owned banking
subsidiary, Community National Bank, headquartered in Escondido,
California. The bank's primary focus is community banking, providing
commercial banking services including commercial, real estate and SBA
