RCA Research Signs Acquisition Agreement with COMSYS (NASDAQ: CITP)

RCA Research, Inc. today announced that it has signed an Asset Purchase Agreement with COMSYS IT Partners, Inc. (NASDAQ: CITP) to join the worldwide family of COMSYS companies. The terms of the cash transaction were not disclosed, however, RCA Research’s full platform of services offerings will merge effective August 17, 2009.

RCA Research is a global consulting firm, specialized in providing project-based Engineering, Environmental, Green Technology, and FDA Compliance Managed Services to its current base of Fortune 100 clients. This transaction is coming on the heels of RCA Research’s most recent acquisition of complimentary engineering assets from The Judge Group in July 2009. Both of RCA Research’s senior executives, Daniel Rhodes and Michael Ruchman, will join the COMSYS organization to assist in leading the company’s development of a best-in-class engineering division.

Commenting on the transaction, Daniel Rhodes, RCA Research’s Senior Vice President, stated, “Given RCA Research’s previously announced strategic plan to combine our engineering practice with an industry-leading services firm, the COMSYS acquisition provided the obvious choice for us to develop the most scalable project solutions available for their clients.” Michael Ruchman, Senior Vice President, also added “As a 30-year veteran of the engineering industry myself, the commitment COMSYS has shown to building this division is truly unsurpassed.”
