Collegiate Funding Services, Inc., Signs Agreement with Kentucky Higher Education Student Loan Corporation Through 2008

FREDERICKSBURG, Va., Nov. 28  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Collegiate Funding Services, Inc. (NASDAQ:CFSI) today announced a new partnership with the Kentucky Higher Education Student Loan Corporation (KHESLC), also known as The Student Loan People, under which CFS will market co-branded Zero Fee Federal Stafford loan products and PLUS (Parent) education loans to educational institutions.

Partnering with CFS will provide The Student Loan People with the opportunity to further expand their services into markets outside of Kentucky, Alabama and Mississippi.  Adding these new loan products to its existing array of education financing solutions allows CFS to meet the needs of post- secondary educational institutions specifically interested in the services and program benefits offered through The Student Loan People.
