Rich Stolz, Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing of
LTL carrier Central Freight Lines, Inc. (Nasdaq:CENF), announced today
the appointment of Chad Pearson to the new Director, Corporate Account
Sales post in the company's Southeast Region. Based out of the
company's Durham, NC offices, Pearson will report to Mark Newcomb,
Vice President of Corporate Accounts.
"Chad has a unique sales approach and I'm eager to put him into
action at Central," commented Newcomb. "He has an incredible work
ethic and great attention to detail. Coupled with Chad's deep
logistics, supply chain and shipper background, he will benefit our
customer base tremendously."
Pearson is responsible for maintaining Central's valued customer
base and growing its business with corporate accounts in the
Southeast. "I am looking forward to working with the seasoned team of
professionals throughout the entire organization to leverage our
capabilities to deliver value for new and existing customers," said
Pearson. "With a strong customer base and history of service to the
customer, I am pleased to join a solid company like Central."
Pearson holds a degree in Logistics from Penn State and has over
18 years of transportation and logistics experience including
operations, information technology, sales and marketing. He joins
Central from Noregon Systems where he had responsibilities for Sales
and Marketing for new transportation markets.
