Participants completing either the CCC Pathways(R)
Estimating Solution New User or Advanced User Training sessions are
now eligible to receive up to 14 credits from the Automotive
Management Institute (AMI). The relationship between CCC and AMI marks
the first time AMI has given credit for training offered by an
estimating software provider.
CCC Pathways is the company's flagship estimating solution that
integrates auditing, digital imaging, shop management and frame
dimensions applications into one solution. CCC, a subsidiary of CCC
Information Services Group Inc. (Nasdaq:CCCG), is a leading supplier
of information technology software and services to the auto-claims and
collision-repair industries.
The CCC Pathways New User Training session is designed for new
users of CCC Pathways, or those looking to increase their knowledge.
The session covers: creating estimates and supplements, utilizing
parts and MOTOR(R) databases, digital imaging, connecting to EZNet(R),
and CCC Pathways maintenance. Attendees earn 12 AMI credits.
CCC Pathways Advanced User Training is for users having three
months (or more) of CCC Pathways experience, and covers: advanced
estimating functions, understanding workfile and estimate statuses,
parts tracking and reconciliation, EZNet communications, and
correspondence and reporting. Attendees earn 14 credits.
The training is taught by CCC Regional Account Managers and is
available at more than 150 nationwide CompUSA(R) locations and through
Centra(R) online training. Participants can apply these AMI credits
toward the 120 required to receive the Institute's Accredited
Automotive Manager (AAM) designation - the first business management
accreditation specifically designed for the repair facility
owner/manager.
"The importance of education within the collision repair industry
cannot be stressed enough," said Mary Jo Prigge, president of Service
Operations at CCC. "We know that many repairers pursue continuing
education courses to keep a solid knowledge base of the tools that
will help them deliver the best repairs. This relationship with AMI
underscores CCC's commitment to education in the industry.
Participants get the benefit of learning CCC Pathways techniques while
receiving credit toward the AAM designation."
AMI Executive Director Toni Slaton said, "We're pleased to provide
credit for the collision estimating training session that CCC offers
to its repair facility customers. This new relationship between AMI
and CCC is very beneficial to service professionals and helps AMI
fulfill its mission to provide and promote practical business
management education tailored to the automotive service industry."
