General Patent Corp. Licenses Acticon Technologies' Patents to
CATC and Several Other Companies
SUFFERN, N.Y., April 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Acticon Technologies LLC (Acticon) has
recently licensed two of its "smart connector" patents to Computer Access
Technology Corporation, popularly called "CATC" , a global communication
protocols company headquartered in Santa Clara, California. General Patent
Corporation International (GPCI), a leading patent licensing and enforcement
firm headquartered in Suffern, New York, represented Acticon in this
transaction.

Acticon's "smart connector" patents cover specific aspects of "smart connector"

these patents.
Other companies that have recently licensed the Acticon patents include InFocus
Corporation of Wilsonville, Oregon, a worldwide leader in digital projection
technology; Corelis, Inc., a Cerritos, California vendor of Boundry-Scan (JTAG)
Controller PC Card products; Kvaser Inc., a Port Hueneme, CA vendor of CAN
(Control Area Network) PC Card products; Nethawk Oyj, an international company
headquartered in Finland which specializes in products used for testing mobile
networks; Fourstar Group Inc. of Taiwan, an international product design
company; Technowarehouse, a Wichita, Kansas vendor of PC Card products; and
Contec Co., Ltd., of Osaka, Japan, an international vendor of PC based I/O
products. In addition, Nortel Networks Limited of Ontario, Canada, Nortel
Networks, Inc. of Durham, North Carolina, Argosy Technology, Inc. of Baldwin
Park, California and DoTop Technology, Inc. of Taiwan entered into settlement
agreements with respect to the sale of PC Card and other "smart" connector
products.
