Brad Marks Named Managing Director and Head of Equity Trading of Broadpoint AmTech

Broadpoint AmTech, Inc., a broker-dealer subsidiary of Broadpoint Gleacher Securities Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: BPSG), today announced that Bradley Marks has joined the firm as a Managing Director and Head of Equity Trading and Michael “Monte” Montalbano has joined the firm as a Director and Senior International Equities Trader.

Mr. Marks comes to Broadpoint AmTech with 20 years of trading experience around the globe. He spent the last year and a half at Pali Capital where he ran Global Trading. Prior to Pali Capital, Mr. Marks ran International Trading at Jefferies for 11 years. Mr. Montalbano joins Broadpoint AmTech with over 15 years of experience as a market maker in International ADRs. He spent the last year and a half at Pali Capital where he ran ADR/Ord Trading. Prior to Pali Capital, Mr. Montalbano worked at Jefferies for 6 years and Herzog, Heine, Geduld for 4 years.
