A.T. Cross Creates Limited Edition Commemorative Pen for
International Tennis Hall of Fame

LINCOLN, R.I., June 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- A.T. Cross Company (AMEX:
ATXAMEX:-AMEX:news) announced the introduction of a solid sterling silver
fountain pen to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the International Tennis
Hall of Fame in Newport, Rhode Island. The limited edition of 1,954 pens, each
individually numbered, will be launched at a special event private dinner on
Friday, July 9th, in Newport at the International Tennis Hall of Fame, at which
Tennis Hall of Famers such as Chris Evert, Rod Laver, John McEnroe, Virginia
Wade, Hana Mandlikova and John Newcombe -- virtually the "Who's Who" in the
tennis world -- and this year's Induction Class of 2004 -- Germany's Steffi
Graf, Sweden's Stefan Edberg and American Dorothy "Dodo" Cheney will each be
presented with a personalized and numbered pen. A. T. Cross has donated the
pen numbered "1" to the Tennis Hall of Fame Museum where it will be on
permanent display.
Crafted from hallmarked solid sterling silver, this beautiful collectible
features exquisite engravings of historic tennis racquets on its body. It is
further distinguished by a solid 18-karat gold nib, plated with brilliant
rhodium, and engraved with a tennis racquet design. The racquet shaped pocket
clip was created by Swarovski and is detailed with Swarovski crystal, and the
front section is decorated in a unique engraved pattern.

solid birch, brass-hinged, velveteen-lined box with a unique magnetic clasp
closure. The International Tennis Hall of Fame insignia is embedded in the
base of the box and a certificate of authenticity is enclosed. Each pen is
accompanied by six ink cartridges, a converter and a jewellery polishing cloth.
