Logos WIB Support Certified on Emosyn Theseus(R) Platinum 


DANBURY, Conn. and LYNGBY, Denmark, Feb. 20  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Emosyn
and Logos Smart Card jointly announced today that the Logos WIB 1.2 software,
running on Emosyn's Theseus(R) Platinum 100, has been awarded SmartTrust
Certified(TM) status. The SmartTrust WIB(TM) 1.2 (Wireless Internet Browser)
implementation was developed by Logos Smart Card A/S as part of their complete
SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) product offering for mobiletelecommunications.
This is the first SmartTrust Certified(TM) WIB 1.2 product available on an
all-flash smart card chip.

The adaptable Logos SIM software, combined with the flash memory technology in
Emosyn's Theseus Platinum products, allows networkoperators to quickly tailor
SIMs to subscribers' purchasing behavior. The telecommunications market for SIM
cards will grow to 635 million units in 2004, according to Eurosmart forecasts.
Many of these SIM cards will contain a micro-browser to allow phone users to
access mobile services through their handsets. The SmartTrust(TM) WIB(TM)
micro-browser is the de-facto inter-industry standard for SIM-based menu
management.
