Item 5.02    Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers

 

Mr. Gary P. Hall retired as Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer of Atlantic Southern Financial Group, Inc. (the “Company”) and its subsidiary, Atlantic Southern Bank (the “Bank”), as of April 30, 2010.  He has agreed to continue to serve the Company and the Bank in a consulting capacity.  Mr. Hall has advised us that his retirement was not due to any disagreement with the Company.
