Aeroflex Incorporated (Nasdaq Symbol: ARXX) today
announced that its Motion Control Division has been awarded a contract
for Mars Science Laboratory (MSL) High Torque Actuators from NASA's
Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL). In addition, Aeroflex has been
awarded a contract for a series of gearheads for the MSL Low and
Medium Torque Actuators. In all, the awards constitute approximately
$10M in business for Aeroflex Motion Control on the MSL program. These
orders are expected to be completed by March 2008.
