Arrow International Announces Dividend Increase for Second Fiscal Quarter

READING, Pa., Feb. 12  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Arrow International, Inc. (NASDAQ:ARRO) announced today that its Board of Directors approved payment of a dividend of $0.21 per share on its outstanding common stock, payable on March 12, 2007 to shareholders of record on February 26, 2007.  The $0.21 per share quarterly dividend represents an increase of $0.04 per share, or 23.5%, over the dividend paid to the Company's shareholders in the previous quarter. This is the fifty-ninth consecutive quarterly dividend paid by the Company since its initial public offering on June 9, 1992 and the fourteenth consecutive year that the Company has increased the amount of its annual dividend.

Commenting on the increase, Carl G. Anderson, Jr., Arrow's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, said, "This increase in our quarterly dividend comes after we have completed our major capital expansion programs in Mexico and the Czech Republic and underscores our confidence in the Company's business initiatives for generating profitable sales growth.  This quarterly dividend translates into an annual dividend of $0.84 per share and an annual dividend yield of 2.5%, based on the most recent closing price of the Company's common stock."
