Seattle-based aQuantive, Inc. (NASDAQ:AQNT), today announced Tom Woods
has joined the company as vice president of business planning and
analysis; and Tom Phillips has joined as vice president of
communications. aQuantive is a global digital marketing company that
helps marketers acquire, retain and grow customers across all digital
media through its three distinct business units, including Avenue A |
Razorfish, Atlas and DRIVEpm.

Based in aQuantive’s corporate headquarters in
Seattle, Woods will oversee revenue accounting, accounts receivable,
credit/collections, budgeting and long-range financial planning. In
addition, he will be responsible for performing the financial analysis
of potential future acquisitions the company might be involved in. He
most recently served for five years as first vice president of home
loans financial planning and analysis for Washington Mutual. Woods has
more than 20 years experience managing the strategic and business
planning, performance measurement, and financial planning and analysis
for major institutions, including six years management consulting
experience as director of CRM strategy and financial services for KPMG
Consulting.
Phillips will be responsible for directing strategy and implementation
of aQuantive’s external and internal
communications programs. He will work with executives in each of
aQuantive’s operating units out of the
corporate headquarters to develop and implement communications
strategies designed to help attract new clients and employees to the
fast-growing family of digital marketing companies. Phillips has 25
years of progressive public relations experience, including strategic
planning, issues management, media relations, constituent
communications, public affairs and crisis communications.
Prior to joining aQuantive, Phillips spent seven years with DDB Seattle,
where he served as managing partner of the company’s
public relations business unit. DDB is part of the Omnicom group of
companies (NYSE:OMC). Before that, Phillips co-founded and served as a
principal in DeLaunay/Phillips, Inc., one of the Pacific Northwest’s
fastest growing and most successful public relations firms in the 90’s.
