Apropos(TM) Technology (NASDAQ:APRS) announced today
that Solonis, a leading provider of customer-centered solutions for
banks and credit unions, has joined the company's Strategic Technology
Alliance Partner program. The relationship combines Solonis' expertise
in the financial services industry with Apropos' leading contact
center communications management solutions.
Solonis' proprietary software platform, Solonis FI, combines
custom analytics and decision support systems to help banks and credit
unions automate sales, marketing and relationship management
functions. The Apropos partnership will expand Solonis' ability to
automate the delivery of real-time information and recommendations to
call center agents, helping them to instantly determine which inbound
callers are good candidates for up-sell, cross-sell or retention
offers.
"The contact center is critical to the maintenance of customer
relationships in the financial services industry," said Solonis CEO
Ron Buck. "Our partnership with Apropos will benefit banks, credit
unions and other financial services organizations focused on enhancing
real-time, one-to-one customer marketing efforts in their contact
centers."
Apropos is also essential to Solonis in supporting its customers'
onboarding strategy, a structured orientation program including
multiple contacts within the first 90 days of a customer relationship.
A recent BAI Research survey shows that customer attrition within the
first three to six months of new checking account relationships can be
up to 200% higher than annualized attrition rates.
By leveraging Apropos' multi-channel interaction management
solution through its software platform, Solonis selects the best
communication method for contacting new customers. "In supporting our
customers' onboarding activities, Apropos enables us to determine the
optimum combination of communication vehicles - such as voice, e-mail,
Web, and fax - that result in consistently positive customer
experiences," reported Buck. "In particular, Apropos' e-mail
capabilities are extremely valuable to us. As customers increasingly
use this method, we can add intelligence, real-time decision support,
event-driven action plans and Web chat to further personalize each
interaction."
"The relationship with Solonis via this technology alliance
agreement is a natural fit," said Apropos Technology President and CEO
David McCrabb. "By deploying business analytics in the contact center,
agents at financial service organizations will reap a variety of
benefits, including instant access to customer information and
intelligent product recommendations delivered in real-time."
