(NASDAQ: APOL) today announced the formation of Apollo Education Ventures, LLC, a new platform created to support entrepreneurial ventures and emerging companies that are developing the latest innovations in higher education, professional development and human capital management.

Apollo Education Ventures has partnered with Touchdown Ventures Inc., a venture capital firm that works with leading corporations to establish and manage their corporate venture capital platforms. Touchdown Ventures will support Apollo Education Ventures at all stages including deal sourcing, due diligence and portfolio company management.
