Growth and Emerging Business Opportunities Prompted Move to New
150,000-Square-Foot Corporate Campus
PLANO, Texas, Sept. 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Prompted by significant
growth in the neuromodulation marketplace, Advanced Neuromodulation Systems,
Inc. (NASDAQ:ANSI) (ANS), a leading manufacturer of implantable medical
devices, celebrated the grand opening of its new corporate headquarters on
September 18, 2004. The new campus is located in the Legacy Business Park at
Preston Road, north of Tennyson Parkway in Plano, less than half a mile from
ANS' former offices.

The new facility has a modern, efficient look and feel that promotes an
atmosphere of collaboration in a relaxed, professional setting. It houses ANS'
corporate offices, research and development departments and state-of-the- art
manufacturing plant. Amenities include a basketball court, a jogging track and
a complete fitness center as well as a dining room with floor-to-ceiling
windows overlooking the nearby lake.
"ANS' new headquarters is a symbol of the emerging medical device manufacturing
industry in the Dallas/Fort Worth area," said Stan Hall, chairman of the
Medical Device Action Alliance, which works to promote the expansion and
awareness of the medical device industry as a part of the DFW Life Sciences
Partnership.
ANS is poised to take advantage of the exponential growth projected for the
neuromodulation market -- a market that has been expanding at a rate of 20 to
25 percent annually and that is expected to approach $1.1 billion by 2005. In
addition to expanding its marketing, sales and support teams, ANS has
significantly increased its scientific and engineering staff, which is
currently developing new devices to help combat chronic pain and other nervous
system disorders. Now with more than double the previously leased space and
four times the clean room and manufacturing capacity, ANS has the capability
and flexibility to support strong growth into this decade and beyond.
"Our new headquarters positions us for future growth as we continue to develop
and market powerful new products that address real and emerging needs," said
Chris Chavez, ANS' CEO and president. "This new facility will help us maintain
our high levels of quality and service." Chavez added, "We are extremely
appreciative of our loyal customers who have made this possible."
ANS' new address is 6901 Preston Road, Plano, TX 75024. The company's phone
and fax numbers remain the same.
