Anaren Receives a Contract in Excess of $6 Million

SYRACUSE, N.Y., Aug. 22  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Anaren, Inc. (NASDAQ:ANEN) has received an order in excess of $6 million from Syracuse Research Corporation for a major subsystem element used in a System for the US Army.  The contract calls for full-rate production and deliveries starting in September 2006 extending over a 6 month period.  The system is designed to counter remote controlled improvised explosive devices (Counter IED).
