In the complaint, the defendants are alleged to have violated certain provisions of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. Specifically, the complaint alleges that defendants’ misrepresented and/or failed to disclose that its OsoBio facility experienced a power interruption in July, 2014, which lead to the loss of finished product and required remediation of one of its suites. As a result, Albany Molecular’s financial guidance was materially false and misleading at all relevant times. According to the complaint, when the truth was revealed to the market, the Albany Molecular stock plummeted over 35%.
