Other Events.

On May 6, 2008, Ampex Corporation (“Ampex” or the “Company”) announced that its subsidiary, Ampex Data Systems Corporation, has received a $3.2 million order from Boeing Commercial Aircraft Corporation of Seattle, Washington for Ampex DSRs440 and DSRs500 airborne recorders, and for high-capacity disk and solid-state memory modules. A copy of the Company’s press release is attached as an Exhibit 99.1 hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
