First Quarter 2005 Results

(NASDAQ:AFFX) today announced that it will release results for the first
quarter of 2005 after close of the stock market on Thursday, April 21, 2005.
Company management will also host a conference call at 2:00 p.m. PDT on April
21 to discuss first quarter 2005 results and provide financial guidance for the
