Acxiom Named as Finalist in 2009 American Business Awards

Global marketing services leader Acxiom® Corporation (Nasdaq: ACXM) has been named a finalist in three marketing-related categories of the 2009 American Business Awards.

Commonly known as “The Stevies,” the American Business Awards is the only all-encompassing program honoring outstanding performance in business across the United States. Last year, Acxiom was named Best Marketing Organization from among hundreds of entrants.

Acxiom was selected among thousands of entries, representing a broad array of industries, to compete as a finalist in the following categories:

• Best Design: Acxiom PersonicX® Wheel

Award winners will be announced at a June 22 gala to benefit the Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE) at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. Hundreds of executives from across the country are expected at the ceremony, which will be broadcast nationwide via radio.

Finalists were chosen by business professionals nationwide during preliminary judging of applications in April through early May. Mimi San Pedro, Acxiom Global Marketing vice president, was among those named as a judge for certain categories in which Acxiom was not an entrant.
