Independence Air to Begin Service to Norfolk Tomorrow
6 Daily Flights to Washington, DC and Connecting Cities Begin June 23rd
DULLES, Va., June 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Independence Air will begin
low-fare service to Norfolk International Airport (ORF) tomorrow, June 23rd
with six daily, non-stop flights to Washington Dulles International Airport and
quickly grows to eight flights by July 1st. In addition, Independence Air will
be adding easy connections from Norfolk to 33 cities across the country later
this summer.

All flights are now available for sale on the Independence Air website at
FLYi.com. All fares are sold one-way and a Saturday night stay is NOT required
for any fare. Seat assignments can be reserved at the time of booking and
flights are not overbooked.
Fares from Norfolk to Washington are low -- ranging from just $39 one-way to no
more than $92*. Web users who visit FLYi.com and sign up for a free membership
to the iCLUB frequent flyer program will receive an additional $25 off their
first round-trip.

The Independence Air hub at Washington Dulles will be the largest low-fare hub
in America by later this summer -- with 300 daily departures. In addition to
non-stop service from Norfolk to Washington starting tomorrow, by later this
summer Independence Air will also offer a schedule of easy one-stop connections
to 33 destinations, including Albany (NY), Atlanta, Boston, Buffalo, Burlington
(VT), Charleston (SC), Charleston (WV) Chicago, Cleveland, Columbia (SC),
Columbus (OH), Dayton, Detroit, Greensboro (NC), Greenville/Spartanburg (SC),
Hartford, Indianapolis, Jacksonville, Knoxville, Lansing, Louisville,
Manchester (NH), Nashville, Newark, New York (JFK), Pittsburgh, Portland (ME),
Providence, Rochester (NY), Savannah, Stewart/Newburgh (NY), Syracuse and White
Plains (NY).
Flights from Norfolk to Washington will be aboard newly-upgraded 50-seat iJETs
with all-leather slimline seats that provide more legroom than ever before.
