American Access Technologies Wins Suit Against DataWorld

KEYSTONE HEIGHTS, Fla., Feb. 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- American Access
Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ:AATK) is pleased to announce that on February 18,
2005, Florida's 18th Judicial Circuit Court ruled in favor of American Access
in a dispute arising out of American Access' cancellation of a merger agreement
with DataWorld Solutions Inc. in 2001. After a trial, the judge ruled that
American Access was justified in terminating the merger agreement and awarded
American Access damages including fees and costs incurred in connection with
the proposed merger and the resulting litigation.
"The Company is pleased with the ruling and feels that its position has been
totally vindicated," stated Joe McGuire, American Access Chief Financial
Officer. The ruling is subject to execution of a written judgment and DataWorld
may appeal the judgment for a limited period after execution.
