American Access Technologies Distributes Retirement Plan

KEYSTONE HEIGHTS, Fla., Feb. 1  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- American Access Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ:AATK) is pleased to announce that it has distributed all the assets in the American Access Technologies Profit Sharing Plan ("Plan") this week to participants. In addition to other investments, there were 68,000 shares of the company's stock included in the Plan that were transferred into IRA retirement accounts of plan participants.

John Presley, CEO and director, and his spouse acquired 28,150 and 5,000 shares, respectively, and Erik Wiisanen, Vice President-Marketing of the Company's Omega Metals division and director, acquired 29,650 shares from the final distribution of the Plan. All three individuals were trustees and participants in the Plan.

Messrs. Presley and Wiisanen chose to accept their distributions in stock rather than cash to signal their confidence in the future of the Company and the prospects for its shares.
