Zalando has been criticized for working with a performance-management tool that employees use to rank each other. German union Verdi has complained about working conditions at the fashion company after a study found that the use of the tool increased stress, and questioned staff data privacy. Italian broadcaster Mediaset and its shareholder Vivendi are in talks to potentially reach a deal to end a long-running legal battle as a court-imposed deadline approaches.
