                               New product launch


Trace Solutions, a leading property software company and subsidiary of Trace
Group plc, has recently launched BlueBox, a new product designed specifically
for the property investor market.  Trace is delighted to announce the first sale
of the product to Ashtenne Holdings plc, a major UK property investment company.

The directors consider that there is an established, unmet need among property
investors for in-house systems to track their assets, provide up to date
information for asset management, and generate accurate forecasts for strategic
investment management.

BlueBox, which has been developed to meet this need, incorporates an extensive
and extendable property and lease database, diaries which can integrate with
Microsoft Outlook or Lotus, fully integrated accounting capabilities,
forecasting of rental income, expenditure and cash flows all with sensitivity
analysis, service charge management, budgeting and extensive reporting.  There
are further specialist modules for retail management and purchase order
processing.  Other developments in progress cover Workflow Management and an
industry specific Web Portal and these will further extend the scope of this
product and help optimise users' operational efficiencies.
