Toronto based West Red Lake Gold Mines Inc. is focused on gold exploration and development in the prolific Red Lake Gold District of Northwestern Ontario, Canada. This district is host to some of the world's richest gold deposits and has produced over 30 million ounces of high-grade gold.
West Red Lake Gold has a 3100 hectare property which has a 12 kilometre strike length and 3 former gold mines. Our joint venture with Goldcorp (West Red Lake Gold 60% and operator; Goldcorp 40%) at our Rowan Mine property is a draw for many investors as well as industry analysts and writers. The Mount Jamie Mine and Red Summit Mine properties are owned 100%.

West Red Lake Gold Mines recently announced high grade drill results including 72.6 grams per tonne gold over 3.0 meters from exploration work on the 3100 hectare West Red Lake Project located in the prolific Red Lake Gold District, Northwestern Ontario, Canada.
Summer exploration drilling started on the property in early June 2017. The initial drill hole will test the geological potential of the northeast trending Golden Arm Structure where it intersects with the Pipestone Bay St Paul Deformation Zone. Exploration drilling will also take place at the Mount Jamie Mine property. Deeper drilling to extend the Rowan Mine Zones to depth is planned in future work programs.
