                                  AGM STATEMENT


At today's AGM all resolutions were duly passed.

John Joseph, Chairman, commented:

"The Group has made good progress since the year end and I am pleased with this
performance. We are continuing to introduce new innovative product ranges,
matching consumer demands with high quality designs.

The Company's new identity and branding, which harmonises GET's brand across our
broad product base, will be introduced through a series of presentations to
customers, suppliers and the press over the next few weeks. This will be
followed up by the publication of GET's new, all-in-one product catalogue, which
strongly showcases the new brand.

I would like to take this opportunity to formally welcome Sir David Sieff as a
Non Executive Director of the Group. We very much look forward to working
closely with him and his guidance and experience within the retail sector will
be invaluable.

Finally I would like to thank all my Board colleagues and staff who worked
tirelessly to ensure that the recent office move to the Group's new head office
in Potters Bar passed seamlessly without interruption to client service."
