Global Signal Inc. Declares Additional Second Quarter Dividend



SARASOTA, Fla., June 25  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Global Signal Inc.
(NYSE:GSL) announced today that its Board of Directors has declared a cash
dividend of $0.103 per share of common stock, bringing the total dividend for
the second quarter to $0.3125.  The dividend of $0.103 per share is payable on
July 20, 2004 to stockholders of record as of July 6, 2004 for the period from
June 1, 2004 through June 30, 2004.

Prior to the closing of the Company's initial public offering of its common
stock, its Board of Directors declared a dividend of $0.2095 per share of
common stock to stockholders of record as of May 26, 2004 for the period from
April 1, 2004 through May 31, 2004.

Global Signal Inc. owns and manages over 3,200 wireless communications towers
and other communications sites. Global Signal Inc. is organized and conducts
its operations to qualify as a real estate investment trust (REIT) for federal
income tax purposes.
