                          Finance Director Appointment

Coffee Republic plc, the independent coffee bar operator, today announces that
Simon Drysdale (aged 36), formerly of Ernst & Young has joined the Board as
Finance Director.

Simon is currently a director of Dockhaven Limited and was a director of
NeuVoice Limited.

There are no other matters under paragraph (f) of Schedule 2 of the AIM rules to
be announced.
