RNS Number:2581S Blooms of Bressingham Holdings plc 19 November 2003 BLOOMS OF BRESSINGHAM HOLDINGS PLC 19November 2003 SALE OF SMALLER CENTRES As was announced at the time of the Company's Interim Results in October, the Board has been in negotiations for the sale of the three remaining smaller leasehold centres at High Wycombe, Dorney and Elton. The Board is pleased to announce that the sale has now been completed. The proceeds from the sale are anticipated at #1. million including stock at valuation and the proceeds are in line with current balance sheet values, following the provisions that were made in the Interim accounts. The proceeds from the sale will be reinvested in the continuing development of the Group's remaining larger centres. PURCHASE OF CARDIFF FREEHOLD The Board also wishes to announce that the Company has advised the landlord of the Cardiff Garden Centre of the Company's intention to exercise its option to purchase the freehold of the Cardiff Garden centre for #2.5m. The finance for this purchase was arranged as part of the new 12 year banking facility also announced with the Interim results. The Cardiff centre has further development potential and the purchase will be immediately earnings enhancing.
