                  Christmas and End of Year Trading Statement





Trading update


Blooms of Bressingham Holdings PLC today reports on trading over the Christmas
period.


Like-for-like sales over the Christmas period for the 9 weeks to 28th December
were up by 7.9% (for continuing centres only) and post-Christmas sales have been
buoyant and well ahead of last year.


Overall, with only 3 weeks remaining to our year-end, our like-for-like sales
for the year-to-date are up 9.2%.  Group sales for the year to-date are up 1.5%,
which reflects the disposal of the five non-core centres during the financial
year. We expect that both gross margin and profits will be in line with market
expectations for the year and post Christmas stock is at a satisfactory level
