                  Level of acceptances and Extension of Offer


The board of Durlacher announces that, at 3.00 p.m. on 14 July 2003, being the
first closing date of the Offer, acceptances of the Offer valid in all respects
had been received in respect of a total of 103,579,242 web-angel Shares,
representing approximately 79.65 per cent. of the existing issued share capital
of web-angel.

Prior to making the Offer, Durlacher had received irrevocable undertakings to
accept the Offer in respect of 84,226,379 web-angel Shares, representing
approximately 64.8 per cent. of the issued share capital of web-angel.  Valid
acceptances have been received in respect of all the shares subject to these
undertakings and are included in the total for valid acceptances stated above.

The Offer has been extended for a further 14 days.  The next closing date will
be 3.00 p.m. on 28 July 2003.  web-angel Shareholders who wish to accept the
Offer but have not yet done so are strongly encouraged to return their completed
form of acceptance as soon as possible.

Words and expressions used in this announcement shall bear the same respective
meanings as defined in the Offer Document dated 23 June 2003, unless the context
otherwise requires.
