Safeland plc ("Safeland"), the property trading and investment company,
announces that pursuant to the option arrangements set out in the announcement
of 27 March 2003, Safeland has today, 9 April 2003, exercised its option to
purchase, at 9p per share, 10,843,250 ordinary shares (representing 25% of the
ordinary issued share capital) in tecc-IS Plc ("tecc-IS") from Andrew Perloff a
former director of that company.

Larry Lipman and Errol Lipman, Directors of  tecc-IS, are, by virtue of their
interests in the share capital of Safeland Holdings Corporation, each interested
in the 10,843,250 ordinary shares owned by Safeland.
