Ramco Energy plc ("the Company")
Notification of Disclosable Interest dated 30 September 2003
Ramco Energy plc announces that it has today been notified that, following
the purchase of shares in the Company, The Capital Group Companies Inc, on
behalf of its affiliates has increased its notifiable interest under Section 198
of the Companies Act 1985 in the issued share capital of the Company.
The interest is now 1,140,000 ordinary shares of 10p each representing 3.78% of
the issued share capital.
