                             DIRECTOR DECLARATION

Following the announcement today of the appointment of Mr Stephen Mole as
Finance Director of Renold plc, the Company has been advised that there is no
disclosure required under paragraphs 16.4 and 6.F.2(b) to (g) of the Listing
Rules.

Notification is also given that Mr Stephen Mole has been granted options in the
ordinary shares of Renold plc as follows:

Under the Renold (1995) Executive Share Option Scheme
