Asset Management Family of Closed-End Funds 


NEW YORK, Aug. 20  /PRNewswire/ -- Standard & Poor's research reports are now
available for Citigroup Asset Management affiliated closed-end funds, including
14 of our Salomon Brothers funds. The reports provide detailed statistical
information about the funds and their portfolios, as well as objective
third-party commentary.

You can access the reports using the following instructions. On the Citigroup
Asset Management site (http://www.citigroupassetmanagement.com/),

   1) Select "Retail Products," then "Closed-End Funds"

   2) Select "View More Citigroup Asset Management Closed-End Fund
      Information"

   3) Select a fund from the drop-down menu included under the Standard and
      Poor's Research Report heading. This will take you directly to the
      Standard & Poor's report.



You can also access the report by first choosing a fund under the heading
"Retail Products" > "Closed-End Funds" > "Listing." Once you have selected a
fund, you will link to a fund fact card where, in the top right-hand corner,
you can then access the Standard & Poor's report.

  On the Salomon Brothers Asset Management site (http://www.sbam.com/),

   1) Select "Closed-End Funds"

   2) Select a fund from the drop-down menu under the Standard and Poor's
      Research Report heading. This will take you directly to the Standard &
      Poor's report for that fund.



You can also access the report by first choosing a fund under the heading
entitled "Fund Information." Once you have selected a fund, you will link to a
fund fact card where in the top right-hand corner you can then access the
Standard & Poor's report.
