Further to the announcement made on 2nd May 2003, Envesta plc ("Envesta" or
"the Company") has been informed that the sale of 45,562,951 ordinary shares in
the Company to Argo Trust Limited (a company in which DreamFarm SA has an
interest) by Cater Barnard plc and Global Investments Limited has not been
completed. Cater Barnard plc and Global Investments Limited, both of which are
connected with Stephen Dean, Chairman of Envesta, have terminated the sale
contract. As a result, Mr Dean's beneficial interest in the Company's share
capital remains unchanged.
Discussions on operational aspects of the Company's strategic alliance with
Europa Telecomunicazioni S.p.A, are continuing between the respective
managements.
