                         ENVESTA APPOINTS DAVID HUNTER

                           AS NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR



Envesta plc ("Envesta"), the alternative telephony provider, has appointed David
Hunter to the Board as a non-executive director with effect from today.


Mr Hunter has worked in the telecommunication sector for a number of years. In
1994 he was a founding director of Scottish Telecom when as marketing director,
he contributed to the company's initial creation, growth and profitability. In
1999 he joined Epic Group Plc as sales and marketing director and assisted in
refocusing the company into the E-learning market where it is now an
acknowledged market leader, moving to the position of non-executive deputy
chairman in 2002.  Mr Hunter is currently executive chairman of Scotland On Line
Ltd.



Commenting on the appointment Lyndon Chapman, Chairman of Envesta, said: "David
brings to Envesta a wealth of marketing and management skills in both the
telecoms sector and growing companies more generally.  His international
expertise will prove extremely useful as we continue to focus on building the
basis for the sustained future growth and development of Envesta and its
subsidiaries."



William David Hunter (formerly William David Bull), aged 58, is a director of
