RNS Number:8799P Angus & Ross PLC 17 September 2003 ANGUS & ROSS PLC ("Angus & Ross" or "the Company") 17th September 2003 The company's former managing director, Dr Robert Young, has on 17th September 2003 sold 1,000,000 shares (2.4% of the issued share capital) in the Company at a price of 6p per share. In order to allow this transaction to take place, the company's Chairman, Mr Robin Andrews and the company's operations director Mr Christopher Parry have released Dr Young from the terms of option agreements dated 11 June 2002 which allowed: (a) Mr Andrews to purchase up to 1,000,000 of the shares held by Dr Young at any time during the 1 year period commencing on the date of publication of the Company's interim results for the half-year to 31 August 2002 at an exercise price of #0.16 per share; and (b) Mr Andrews and Mr Parry to each purchase up to 500,000 of the shares held by Dr Young at any time during the 2 year period commencing on the date of publication of the Company's interim results for the half-year to 31st August 2002 at an exercise price of #0.22 per share. Following the share sale referred to above, Dr Young holds a total of 1,825,000 shares in the company, representing 4.3% of its issued share capital.
