ANGUS & ROSS ANNOUNCE A SUCCESSFUL PRIVATE PLACING AND THE START OF WORK IN
AUSTRALIA
Angus & Ross wish to announce the private placing of 7,273,480 shares at 5.5p
per share. Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for these
shares to be admitted to trading on AIM and it is expected that dealings will
commence on 16 July 2003.
The proceeds of this issue will be used to start a work programme on the
company's recently acquired exploration and mining leases in Northern
Queensland. In particular a trenching and bulk testing programme on the
Rutherfords Table property will help to define a small resource in the area of
the old workings which may see rapid production. The knowledge gained will help
to target a much larger and more speculative source vent area deposit that is
thought to be underneath the old workings.
