RNS Number:2423T AGA Foodservice Group PLC 15 December 2003 NEW CHAIRMAN FOR AGA FOODSERVICE Vic Cocker is to succeed Kit Farrow as non-executive Chairman with effect from 1st February 2004 when Kit will step down from the Board after ten years as a non-executive director. Vic joined the Board of Aga Foodservice Group in July 2000 as a non-executive director and is currently the senior independent director, a member of its Audit and Nomination Committees and Chairman of its Remuneration Committee. He is a well respected figure in the Midlands business community. From 1995 to 2000 he was Group Chief Executive of Severn Trent plc and led the international development of its non-regulated businesses. Vic is founding Chairman of WRAP (the Government funded company established in 2000 to develop markets for recycled materials) and has been a member of ACBE (the Government Advisory Committee on Business and Environment) since 1996. He is also Chairman of the charity, Water Aid. Vic Cocker today said "Aga Foodservice has transformed its business in recent years. It has strong brands and a truly international reach. Taking over from Kit, after his successful four years as Chairman, is an honour and an opportunity for me to help to drive the business forward in the coming years."
