Samson Oil & Gas Limited (the “Company”) today announced that its audited consolidated financial statements for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2017, which were included in the Company’s Annual Report on Form 10-K, filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on September 28, 2017, contained a going concern qualification from its registered independent public accounting firm in the U.S. Additionally, the Company’s Annual Report filed with the Australian Stock Exchange on September 29, 2017 included a report from the Company’s Australian independent auditor containing a similar going concern emphasis of matter opinion. This announcement is made in accordance with NYSE American Company Guide Section 610(b), which requires separate disclosure of receipt of an audit opinion containing a going concern qualification. This announcement does not represent any change or amendment to the Company's audited financial statements or to its U.S. or Australian Annual Reports for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2017.
