Quarterly Reports on Tap From Restaurant Companies -- Week Ahead

Fast-casual restaurant companies Panera Bread Co. (PNRA) and Potbelly Corp. (PBPB), along with BJ's Restaurants Inc. (BJRI), are set to report their latest quarterly results next week.

Meanwhile, oil and gas company Sundance Energy Australia Ltd. (SEA.AU) is expected to debut on the Nasdaq during the week.

Also, the U.S. Census Bureau of the Department of Commerce is expected to release retail e-commerce sales next week.

 
   Quarterly Reports From Restaurants 

Panera Bread, BJ's Restaurants and Potbelly will report quarterly results next week. Panera and BJ's are expected to post higher revenue, while Potbelly is set to issue its second report as a public company.

Other major companies expected to report are Coca-Cola Co. (KO) and Herbalife Ltd. (HLF).

 
   Sundance Energy Expected to Debut on Nasdaq 

U.S. onshore oil and gas producer Sundance Energy Australia, which trades on the Australian Securities Exchange, seeks to raise up to $143.4 million through a listing on the Nasdaq.

Meanwhile, Semler Scientific Inc., a Portland, Ore., medical-risk assessment company, looks to raise $11.4 million by trading on the Nasdaq.

 
   Census Bureau to Release Retail E-commerce Sales 

The Census Bureau is expected to give its estimate for retail e-commerce sales for the fourth quarter. In the prior quarter, the bureau estimated seasonally adjusted e-commerce sales increased 18% year over year while total retail sales rose 4.7%. E-commerce sales have steadily increased since 2004, according to census data.

 
   Markets Closed Monday 

U.S. markets, banks and government offices will be closed Monday in observance of Presidents Day.
