FTR Limited (FTR) officially launches FTR Interrogator, a total

directly from a computer
Save time by creating shortcut keys for frequently used words and
phrases
Simplify transcript creation through FTR’s
free, feature-rich Player
FTR Interrogator was developed specifically to meet the needs of
investigators and detectives. According to Erik Lige, VP Global Sales
and Marketing, FTR Limited, “Law enforcement
officials now have an efficient way to capture a high-quality digital
record of interrogations and interviews, and the ability to archive and
share the information more easily than with VHS, DVR, or DVD recorders.
Lige continued, “Combined with the ability to
take electronic notes during and after an interview and link them to a
specific portion of a recording, you’ve got a
complete management solution that increases efficiency department-wide.”
FTR recording solutions have been installed in a number of states in the
U.S. as well as several provinces in Canada. “We
are definitely seeing a rise in the number of states that are recording
interviews and an increasing need to be able to do this digitally,”
explained Steve Townsend, President and CEO of FTR Limited. Lakewood
Police Department in Colorado is extremely pleased with the FTR
solution. Sergeant Phil Tenney of the Lakewood PD states that, “Our
department staff loves the easy-to-use interface. The fact that we can
download the Player for free enables all relevant personnel to review a
particular recording. We have seen an immediate return on investment
through increased efficiency, and storage cost savings benefits.”
The Interrogator solution will be offered for sale through FTR’s
network of law enforcement reseller partners. “Our
law enforcement reseller partners will work closely with each law
enforcement venue and address the individual needs of each organization
to deliver an outstanding digital solution,”
added Rob Gamble, Channel Sales and Marketing Manager, FTR Limited.
